Saw The Front Page in Grade 10 and thought, “That looks like fun.” Started pounding a typewriter at the Vancouver Sun in 1974. Took a buyout in 2002, then freelanced and taught Journalism. My work has appeared in publications including the Globe and Mail, Canadian Reader’s Digest, the Tyee, Good Housekeeping (the one with Sophia Loren on the cover), and A Pictorial History of Gargling.
